Ballistix

The game is a unique futuristic sport which has been compared variously to pinball , the board game Crossfire and shove ha'penny. The player controls a cursor that can fire a stream of small balls. These are used to direct a puck across a court to score a goal. In the two-player game, this is hindered by your opponent, aiming for the opposite goal. In the single-player game, a form of gravity is the opposition.

FIFA 97

The main new feature of the game other than the motion capture was the indoor football mode. There are six ways to play the game, including outdoor and indoor, as well as action and simulation modes. 32-bit AI is used, as well as motion blending technology. It is possible to play six-a-side football in an indoor arena with the ball bouncing off the walls meaning there are no throw-ins and therefore a much higher paced game. Commentary is provided by John Motson and Andy Gray while the presenter is Des Lynam. Multiplayer games are also possible with up to 20-players via LAN and 8-players using modem. The game trailer's tagline was "FIFA 97, it will blow you away.

Goal

Dino Dini's Soccer was a conversion of Goal! for the Sega Mega Drive. Dino Dini's Soccer had all the relevant features of the Amiga version and it was graphically superior to it.[neutrality is disputed]
[citation needed] The game implemented an innovative 4-way play feature.

Hard Ball 4

Hardball 4 is the fourth in a line of baseball simulation games. play a two player game, or use any league features. It allows play of a single inning of a game, taking a turn at hitting and pitching roles.
The full version also includes a home run derby and other features. From what I can tell, this game does a reasonable job of simulating a baseball game on PC. The graphics are decent. The general pace of the game feels a bit sluggish, like having to watch the players all run out onto the field.

Links 386 Pro

Players select a male or female character and their clothing. They select the level of play (beginner, amateur, and pro) and tee position. The player can control character direction and foot position, and the shot is controlled by a swing meter, held to the top for power and released and clicked again as it swings back to the bottom for direction - early will hook and late will slice. Players can select from multiple views, split the screen and record shots.

Panza Kick Boxing

Probably one of the best fighting games ever made (and one of the few Thai boxing games in existence). Features good smooth animations easy but still complex enough controls which make up for great gameplay. The character development option with a training gym, where you can improve your boxer's abilities is also very nice - as is the option to customize your attacks. The PC conversion even features all the samples from the Amiga game including the cool title tune by Michel Winogradoff.
Sadly, there is no soundblaster driver for them but just sample-drivers for the PC speaker and adlib sound card.

Sensible Golf

Sensible Golf is a 2D golf game released by Sensible Software in 1995 for the Amiga. A Sega Mega Drive version was planned but never released. Its theme tune was written by the lead game designer, Jon Hare and a promotional video was directed by Carl Smyth from the group Madness and filmed in Regent's Park, London. The game has the same pin-like characters that had previously used in Sensible Soccer and Cannon Fodder. It received lacklustre reviews. and sold poorly.

Skate or Die!

The game featured two ramp events - the freestyle ramp and the high jump, two downhill events - the downhill race (in a park setting) and the downhill jam (in a street setting), and the pool joust.
The pool joust, downhill jam, and the downhill race (in two player mode only) were all head to head, while the ramp events were single player. Except for the joust, which was a hand-to-hand knockout
competition (literally and figuratively), all the event winners were decided by a point system.

Winter

Most of the games consisted of using the directional pad for steering, and the A, B, and C buttons for performing certain functions like shooting running, braking, or pushing off, as you would for the ski jump. Button mashing was necessary at times for a couple of the events, but most were focused on timing and accuracy. The ski jump was scored by distance, and the biathlon was scored by time and shooting accuracy. All the other events were scored by time.

WrestleMania

Although based on professional wrestling, WWF WrestleMania's digitized graphics and fast-paced gameplay make it more of a fighting game than a Sports/wrestling game inspired by Midway's popular Mortal Kombat series. What separates this game from previous and future WWF/WWE video games is its over-the-top and very cartoonish attacks.Examples include Doink the Clown pulling out a mallet out of thin air, Razor Ramon's arm transforming into a blade, or Bam Bam Bigelow's fists catching on fire. While actual wrestling moves are present, matches consist primarily of strike attacks and special moves. There are other similarities to the Mortal Kombat games, such as uppercuts that cause the opponent to go sky high, flawless victories and very tongue-in-cheek character animations
